Explore the magical world of Elftown 2024

Coming back to the Galway Racecourse in 2024, Elf Town Galway will bring children on a magical journey through the castle gates and into a magical world of fun. This is a magical experience that takes place in three different venues over four floors.

To start off the magic, Santa Claus will send a personalised postcard to each visitor, thanking them for coming to visit Elf Town. In this special postcard, Santa Claus will also include the Golden Ticket, which is the official invite to this special event.

The gift pack is included with ticket purchase, and consists of the Invite, Postcard, Golden Ticket, a Map and a little magical sparkle.

The Elf Town magical experience

A journey through Elf town will take two hours, with tonnes of fun for the entire family. With nine experiences laid out over the four floors, your family will love this festive season treat.

First you will encounter Jack Frost’s Ice House, this big house is made entirely from ice. A chilly place to get that perfect family photo. Your child can then warm up when writing their letter to Santa with Postie Elf in the Postal Portal.  Get your dancing shoes on with the Disco Elf and hit the LED dance floor for some boogie fun.

Enter the Reindeer Post and laugh at this very popular puppet show of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Follow the trail of the Elf Terrace, make snowballs and listen to the tales about Santa from his elves. Feeling peckish? Head into Mrs. Claus kitchen and help her to decorate some very special cookies and take one home. There is time to grab a Hot Chocolate or Coffee in one of the many stalls here.

Now for the most magical journey. Board the Elf Town Express and watch your child gleam with excitement as the train chugs through the mountains up to the Grotto.

Meet Santa Claus, his Family & his Reindeer

This part of the tour is what makes visitors return year after year, with one dubbing it “Best Santa experience for kids I have ever seen. Highly recommend it.” and it is no surprise when you see what is in store for your kids.

A private visit with Santa Claus is the main event. Watch your child be amazed as they meet Santa at his Grotto. He will be able to tell your child a secret that only they will know, like their favourite show or teacher’s name. Take a photo with Santa, then receive the Golden Toy coin for a gift.

The final stop on this special family trip is to Santa’s Toy Shop. The store is packed floor to ceiling with toys for boys and girls to choose from. Exchange your special toy coin for anything in the shop.
